The Firefly is a place where anyone can just sit down, take a bath or practice their skills if they want to during the afternoon. We will always try to welcome you with a gentle feeling and a great mood.The idea of the Firefly seems like a place that someone might have lived in and that's correct. It also totally functions as a place someone lives!The sun is inviting for you to get started on your journey into the open world of happiness!

The beginning seems a bit unclear, but she was found at Western Ryurin Bridge by the Namazu. Her name was meant to signify the bridge's beauty and the bridge's material, while also keeping part of her western heritage. Therefore her name would be written in traditional Eastern handwriting and modern western writing. She was raised by the Namazu and took their Eastern and unique mannerisms. Due to her outgrowing stature, she was taught the art of the Tachi through knowledge shared by the Yuzuka Clan. After a few years of training, Gyoshin felt it was time to send her towards the West as ordained by the Great One and so she was set to travel after the return of Hien Rijin to ensure good luck and to receive his blessing as one of the new Samurai retainers after the previous retainer of the Daito Clan fell at the retaking of Doma due to her affiliation with Yuzuka. With her travels, she takes her trustworthy weapons for protection and storytelling. The Sho no Yuzuka-tachi, which refers to the reward and the pride of Yuzuka. Her goals in the west is to find Western wood that supports the Yuzuka effort, while another goal is awaiting for her in the Black Shroud surrounding herself.She did not manage to get any closer to her heritage, but the materials gathered have given her a great insight with regards to the arts of crafting as she has taken great care to research a story about 'Skysteel'. A relic made for the one seeking extensive knowledge of creation. She has managed to create her own gathering tools due to her hard work as she needed to gain knowledge on the creation of this art.With this knowledge, she knew she had to find a way to bring her family towards the west. Maybe it will be a silly endeavour, but nothing has been normal when living with Namazu. Perhaps there are some things to be found in the world by traveling and fulfilling her lifelong quest.A curious fork in her travels was meeting the Raen girl without initial name. She would give her the name Setsuna as Doman tradition as she thought of it in an instant. She would make her a retainer as it might give the Raen a purpose, but she knew she could only stay for a temporary period. She does not pry in her problems but does hope she will indulge her one day if she feels ready for it. She has given her a small serpent to aid her in her journeys towards the future which has been made by memories of a Namazu trailing through the One River in a pot.So, what is she doing now? She is travelling around the world to help her family get the tools to create better Namazu sculptures. She might be the landowner, but she isn't often at the place, and one should request for her presence.

A girl who has taken the name of the samurai lady who found the girl during the lady's trips and impressed the girl so much that the girl would take the lady's name. Though the girl seems to feel that it is an easy way out for her, so the girl was kept as a free retainer. This was a great agreement for both of them as this life benefits them both.As of now, she is the owner of her small place called the Firefly. A peaceful place that makes her forget of things that happened in the past. She has mostly been cheerful, although she might be distrusting of certain people depending on her links to her past.She is friendly enough due to her extended stay in Eorzea and prefers to talk in a casual and respectful tone. Though her hardships involve getting to terms to her past. She will be usually there to meet you at the Firefly.Before she started her life as a retainer and trying to make the best of herself, she would be a practitioner of Somanoutics until she was ordered to move. An incident caused her to forsake her arts and studies as a Sage that would set her up for regrets.While she was fishing for a carp to supply the Firefly, she might have found herself on a path towards a new fate as proclaimed by her master and her teacher.
The ground floor, the floor everyone starts. Here is where the hostelry, the stage and Setsuna's room can be found. Setsuna's room can be booked as part of the hostelry.
The upper floor is a place you can discuss or ask for a story. Perhaps the library can enlighten you about knowledge.
The basement is the relaxation floor. If you need to wind down, the atmosphere of this basement hopefully fulfills you all with happiness.
This is an SFW venue, where I want to bring a warm atmosphere without going into things that would be considered sensitive.Please keep all public interactions SFW and try to keep your interactions in character(IC).Be a decent person to everyone. Please keep it respectful. Use your OOC(Out of Character) marks to make sure you're both having fun or both know what is happening.Fights are allowed on stage, if they are sanctioned by Shorana or Setsuna. Inform Shorana or Setsuna if you want to arrange such a thing.Other arrangements can also be done by asking Shorana or Setsuna.Weapons and minions can be kept in the open if they fulfill with your roleplay. Otherwise, I would like to ask you to hide them both as that gives a more friendly feeling.To help with potential interactions, I will use a system involving the icons in Final Fantasy XIV. The yellow 'RP'-icon will be used for an active roleplayer in character. The green 'Looking for Party'-icon can be used to people who look to get started with roleplaying. The red 'Busy'-icon is used for people who just want to observe what might be happening.A recommendation for our starters if you are using your green icon is to start somewhere, be near people. I know it is intimidating, but if you need to get started. I recommend you start with Shorana or Setsuna, either will help you both in character and out of character to get you started.Yelling is for orders on the ground floor and shouts are for the staff.
All prices are to be paid IC! These do not incur ingame gil. The menu could be expanded if they fill in the Far Eastern or whether you want Archon Loaf.

| The Food | This dish is all about nutrition, a dish that comes from Setsuna's travels to survival. The only thing that she can guarantee is its nutrition to last, the taste is cited to be awful for most. There is a small reason why it is named as suspicious as it is. It must be due to the high amount of carrots and rye content. |
| Philosopher's Sandwich | There is no huge surprise, but it is two slices of bread. Thankfully there is some taste in between those slices with nutrients and healthily balanced. |
| Yuzukan Sake | A healthy rice-based drink fermented with love and the extended skill of the Namazu. Each serving comes with a ponze of sake in a flask. This is to ensure a happy feeling and a great emergency ration when your adventures go wrong. |
| Doman Sushi | A special plate of raw fish being made with care and served along with rice. Shorana prides this on being great fish, but you can request for an Eorzean-style of Doman Sushi or a good old Doman-style. |
| Doman Ramen | A bowl of rice noodles made from the ground rice as flour which is a nice Doman cuisine proud to bear its name with some extra condiments like Dzo meat or Tofu if one desires! There will be some vegetables like Sun Cabbages and tastefully enhanced with Fennel. |
| The Beaver Burger | A hamburger designed to look like the adorable beaver. It's got a nice lettuce to make up for the body along with the meat and the cute onions to make their tusks! Does take a while due to the intricate design. |
| La Noscean Orange Juice | A simple orange juice which is freshly made by recently gathered La Noscean Oranges. The Firefly prides on the feeling of a freshly squeezed orange, therefore you are allowed to squeeze one orange yourselves. |
| Rye Whiskey | A gift left by Setsuna as she would be traveling for a while. It's a deep fruity flavour that could be considered exquisite. It's unlike Setsuna, but it's a great option for people who want a strong spirit that gives them courage. |
Adventures
Adventures can be played through a system called Eorzea RPG. At times, there might be adventures posted when asked to Setsuna. As of now, there is only a tour adventure called Tour de Firefly. A simple, small guide that can be played with character sheets or without!Explanation of Eorzea RPG will be provided if necessary.
